Nothing adds as much to a room as paint does. There isn’t a
design element out there that gives you as much value and
return on investment as a simple can of paint. The first step
in decorating any space should be painting. Your room can go
from blank canvas to evoked emotion in the few hours it takes
to paint the walls. And that is before you even bring the
furniture in.
Before you paint your room, you want to consider what emotion
it is you would like to evoke. An overview of the colorwheel
and its colors will give you some guidelines to follow, though
these certainly are not hard and fast rules. In your home,
anything goes.

You may be living an unhealthy life if you’ve never heard of
Feng Shui. Feng Shui is based on the idea that if you place
your belongings in a certain order your life will become more
balanced including your health.
One school of Feng Shui involves the use of colors. If you
choose calming colors in your home you will feel calmer. For
instance having a bright red bedroom can actually lead to
stress and uneasiness. A shade of purple might be a much better
choice.

1. Don’t squat with your spurs on.
2. Don’t interfere with something that ain’t bothering you none.
3. If you find yourself in a hole, the first thing to do is stop digging.

6. When you give a personal lesson in meanness to a critter or to a person
don’t be surprised if they learn their lesson.
7. If you’re riding ahead of the herd, take a look back every now and then to
make sure it’s still back there.
8. The quickest way to double your money is to fold it over and put it back in
your pocket.
9. If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering
somebody else’s dog around.
10. And never, ever, miss a good opportunity to shut up.

Christmas may very well be the oldest holiday that is shared
across the many cultures of the world; it is traditionally
celebrated during the winter season (or even the warm summer
season if you count Australia, where Christmas is celebrated as
an official holiday).
Before Christmas was celebrated, people were finding time to
celebrate in Europe during the winter holiday before the birth
of Jesus Christ ever even occurred!
The Winter Solstice has always been a time to celebrate and
rejoice; it is celebrated on December 21 in the northern
hemisphere and it was after the Winter Solstice that the worst
part of the year was behind them. It was at that point during
the year that the days began to get longer, giving the people
more time to spend outside on their crops and tending to their
animals.
