“In order to change an existing paradigm you do not struggle to try and change the problematic model. You create a new model and make the old one obsolete.”
Buckminster Fuller
The 2008 Presidential Election is pivotal in America’s history and will have ramifications far into the future. We are on an historic journey. The collective karma of the nation, the generational karma of its citizens and the personal karma of the candidates are coalescing in a rare cosmic blueprint. More than simply about “change”, this election is about charting a revolutionary new course.

This year is all about assessment, discernment and detachment with a constant eye to taking your part in the manifestation of the enlightened society we are all working toward. You reap all the “rewards” of your past achievements which will provide the resources for this year’s building projects for a new world. Overall this was not a year to be very reclusive. It is time to share what you’ve learned and discover what other’s have learned. Through this process everyone gains greater understanding in order to maintain harmony and peace which will uplift and enlighten everyone on all levels.
You will be given opportunities to bring everything physical to its highest level of expression and balance it with your wisdom and vision. This is done by the choices you make and your willingness to take responsibility for those choices. Will you stop, breath and respond in a loving way, or will you immediately react in the old way? Your choice. It is through these choices that you will blend and balance the mystical and the mundane, the Spiritual and the physical. The goal is to come to an understanding and realization of the oneness of mankind, to blend your ideas and ideals into universal consciousness and blend personal love into Universal love knowing that all these concepts are not mutually exclusive.

In a phone session with Gerald, one of my clients, he
expressed to me that he was feeling very sad about his son,
Luc. Luc, 29 years old, was not doing much with his life,
and Gerald was berating himself for how he had parented Luc.
“I should have spent more time with him. I should have
motivated him more. I should have been a better role model.
I should have been more firm with him.” On and on he went,
judging himself for how he had been as a parent.
“Gerald,” I said, “Luc is on his own soul’s journey. Even if
you had been a perfect parent – and none of us really knows
what that means – Luc might still be having the challenges
he is having.”
“Really? Wow! That makes me feel much better! I never
thought of it that way. Tell me more about what you mean by
his own soul’s journey.”

Nothing adds as much to a room as paint does. There isn’t a
design element out there that gives you as much value and
return on investment as a simple can of paint. The first step
in decorating any space should be painting. Your room can go
from blank canvas to evoked emotion in the few hours it takes
to paint the walls. And that is before you even bring the
furniture in.
Before you paint your room, you want to consider what emotion
it is you would like to evoke. An overview of the colorwheel
and its colors will give you some guidelines to follow, though
these certainly are not hard and fast rules. In your home,
anything goes.

You may be living an unhealthy life if you’ve never heard of
Feng Shui. Feng Shui is based on the idea that if you place
your belongings in a certain order your life will become more
balanced including your health.
One school of Feng Shui involves the use of colors. If you
choose calming colors in your home you will feel calmer. For
instance having a bright red bedroom can actually lead to
stress and uneasiness. A shade of purple might be a much better
choice.
