I am Rhonda Smith, one of the founders of the Awakening Center, Inc. We are a nonprofit corporation that puts into practice the belief that it is through cooperation and not competition that we evolve. We teach individuals and groups how to transcend the "fear" that causes competition and move to the freedom and joy of the true cooperation of equals. As individuals find that joy, the community begins to find that joy and freedom to create a fuller world.

My credentials are Bachelor of Science in History/Economics, Juris Doctor (law degree), Doctor of Metaphysics, Doctor of Divinity, Doctor of Motivational Sciences, Master of Religious Studies, an ordained Minister, Master Reiki practitioner, Master Chios practitioner, Master Shambhala practitioner and Jin Shin Jyutsu therapist. In addition, I've spent 35 years studying Metaphysics and the esoteric tools of that philosophy/science and was blessed with many opportunities to serve individuals in becoming who they are using all available tools, both mundane and esoteric, and intuitive counseling. My primary esoteric tool that I have found very effective in assisting people to uncover who they are is Numerology.

My numerology has been and is published in the Sedona Journal of Emergence, the Atlanta Aquarius, the InnerSight ezine, ProAstro ezine, Spiritone ezine and at Alumbo.com. Articles have been published in the PlanetLightworker ezine. SpiritQuest Magazine, quantuitive.com, OmPlace, and PagaNet. However, in light of all that "paperwork", I still think my most important "credential" is that I never forget I am a human being evolving with the group.

I have lived a life full of experiences as a student, wife, mother of 6, grandmother of 8 and counting, widow, lawyer and have been doing counseling and "reading" for 35 years. In 1996 I was guided to begin laying the foundation for an Awakening Center that will provide what is needed for the evolutionary step we are taking. In line with that I have been counseling, doing "readings" and teaching in an online environment and in person. We are now in the process of gathering assistance to create a physical location in which to use the tools and techniques that have been created and perfected during this long period of preparation.
